The Africa Cup of Nations is the biggest football tournament on the continent, with 24 nations competing and millions watching across Africa and around the world. I worked as a 3D motion designer on the title sequence for the 2025 edition, held in Morocco.
We were a small team working to a quick turnaround, so every shot had to count. The goal was to bring the same energy you feel in the stadium, making the sequence as exciting as the football itself and using traditional Moroccan tiles as a device to tie everything together.
